Cooperation with Austria



Assistant Minister for Defence Policy Miroslav Jovanovic met today with the Chief of the Security Policy Directorate, Federal Ministry of Defence and Sports of the Republic of Austria Major General Johan Pucher.

During talks both sides estimated that the defense cooperation was intense. They emphasized the need for its further improvement of quality, with a focus in the areas of RCBD, training and development, and preparation of joint participation in multinational operations, logistics, and military medicine.

The Federal Ministry of Defence and Sports of the Republic of Austria will continue to assist Serbia in defence reform, as well as approximating the Republic of Serbia to European integration and including Serbia into regional and wider initiatives.
