First Vice President of the Serbian Government and Minister and Defence Aleksandar Vucic met with the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador Michael Kirby.
At the beginning of the interview Vucic said he would continue to fight systematic corruption without any mercy, and that Serbia would create a favorable climate for the arrival of new investments.First Vice President of the Serbian Government confirmed Serbia’s readiness to continue the dialogue with Pristina and fulfill the obligations undertaken by the previous government.
Both sides concluded that cooperation in the defence was going well, where both sides stressed the role of the Ohio National Guard, which has largely supported the reform of the defense system.
Both the Serbian and U.S. side stressed the need to improve bilateral relations. The newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Kirby expressed his full support to Serbia'sm EU integrations.
