Meeting on armaments and logistics



Fourth meeting on cooperation in the field of armaments and logistics was held today in the House of Guards in Topcider. The meeting was attended by delegations of the Ministry of Defence Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia, while the Ministry of Defence of Croatia represented the country's defense attaché in Serbia.

The meeting was chaired by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Materiel Jasminka Todorov and Lieutenant Frey Apfalter from the Austrian delegation.

During the meeting, the participating countries shared their experiences in the areas of logistics and weapons and discussed next steps in order to improve cooperation. The focus of the fourth plenary session of the meeting was given to presentations and discussions on the development and implementation of logistics information systems, which is the central theme of the meeting.

This year's meeting was a continuation of the cooperation which started in the field of armaments and logistics, launched on the initiative of the Republic of Austria. The first two meetings were held in Vienna, the previous one in Belgrade.
