Minister Vucic meets with the Austrian CHOD
First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic met with the Chief of Austrian CHOD general Edmund Entacher.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Vucic said that one of the goals of the new government was to speed up the process of European integration and the promotion of regional cooperation, while he thanked the Austrian side for its support to defense reforms in Serbia and the professional attitude of the Austrian contingent within KFOR.Both sides agreed that cooperation in the defense would mostly focus on preparation for participation in multinational operations, training and development, nuclear, biological and chemical defense, logistics and military medicine.
Vucic stressed the need to improve cooperation in the defense industry and the possible joint appearance on third markets, emphasizing that Austria is the one country that is not a NATO member state our country has the best cooperation with.
