Dress rehearsal for youngest officers' promotion ceremony



Dress rehearsal for the promotion ceremony of youngest officers of the Serbian Army was held last night in front of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. 156 cadets of 133rd class of the Military Academy, including thirty-one cadets and two members of the Army of Montenegro, practiced the program for tomorrow's ceremony.

"I congratulate you on the extraordinary success and great effort. I wish you a happy day tomorrow, to be the best so far. May your family be happy and proud of your success. May you quickly advance in the service, and safeguard, defend, and love this country of ours. Long live Serbia!" as Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic todl future officers in front of the National Assembly last night.

President of the Republic of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic will present sabers at tomorrow's ceremony, while the most successful cadets of the Army and Air Force will be presented pistols with inscription by minister of defence Aleksandar Vucic.

During the afternoon, planes MiG 29, Supergaleb G-4, Lasta and Gazela helicopters practiced for the performance.

At a ceremony in front of the National Assembly, which will begin at 17:30, besides the Serbian Army aviation will also feature the Guard showing egzercira, the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense, "Stanislav Binicki" and the Representative Orchestra of the Guard.
