Day for the media for "Batajnica 2012" air show



At the airport Batajnica a day for the media was held yesterday, during which the media journalists, including many fans of aviation, had the opportunity to see the dress rehearsal of foreign aircrafts which will take part in international air show "Batajnica 2012 today."

According to Brigadier General Predrag Bandic, commander of the 204th Aviation Brigade, head of the air show, 16 countries will participate in the air show, with 27 aircraft in the static and dynamic part of the program.

"Our colleagues from Denmark are expected to fly the F-16, so they will round up the list of participants coming from abroad. With 40 domestic aircrafts and 57 aircrafts from sporting organizations and clubs the number will exceed 130 participants, "said General Bandic, noting that on the apron at the airport Batajnica the visitors could see everything the organizers promised.

"Today is the day for the media, but a large number of civilian visitors speaks volumes of to the interest in tomorrow's air show. What you will be able to see tomorrow, which is a description of a surprise dogfight where the members of MiG-29 will simulate interception of MiG 21, "as general Bandic said, adding that all aircrafts, including “strizi” who arrived yesterday as the state of the art of the world of technology which high handling requirements- as regards oxygen quality, fuel qualirty, accommodation conditions, and the fact that there are just proof that the Serbian Army Air Force has met all the technical requirements and that it is not only capable of to accommodate these aircrafts but also to possess them.

Following the rehearsal of foreign aircrafts, guests at the airport Batajnica, could see a dress rehearsal of our aircrafts performing solo programs.
