After the tragic death of cadets at the Military Academy in the ''Pasuljanske livade'' inter-service training ground, Chief of the Military Academy, in accordance with the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces and the Rules on Military Discipline, has launched a disciplinary inquest ex officio against six people (two colonels, two majors and two lieutenants) to determine the responsibilities of military leaders.

Upon completion of the inquest and the established factual state, the indictment of two individuals (one colonel and one major) was submitted to the military disciplinary prosecutor in Belgrade, while the disciplinary inquest for one person (a colonel) is underway. Possible responsibility of other officers will be decided on by military disciplinary court based on the submitted documents.

We recall that determining of criminal liability is under the jurisdiction of the Senior Public Prosecutor from Jagodina and the filing of criminal charges is expected in the forthcoming period.
