NCOs buried



With military honors, today the Serbian Army NCOs, Sergeant First Class Nebojsa Milic (37) from 98th Aviation Brigade and Senior Sergeant Slavisa Markovic (36) from 204th Aviation Brigade, who died in an accident while clearing terrain of mines in Kopaonik were buried today.

In the new cemetery in Nis, besides relatives, many friends Sergeant First Class was laid to rest by the envoy of the President Milorad Simic, representative of the Minister of Defence, Deputy Minister for the Budget and Finance Srbislav Cvejic, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Serbian Army General Major Milan Bjelica, commander of Air Force Major General Ranko Zivak and commander of the 250th missile brigade Brigadier General Dusko Zarkovic.

Sergeant First Class Nebojsa Milic worked in the Serbian Army since July 1997. He was married, and a father of two sons. With his colleagues he participated in demining Batajnica airport, Nis and Ladjevci.

At the cemetery in Gornje Kordince in Prokuplje Sergeant Slavisa Markovic was buried. His family, relatives and many friends and colleagues paid him last respects. The funeral was attended by the representative of the President Milorad Simic, Serbian Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Ljubisa Dikovic, delegate of the Minister of Defense Major General Sladjan Djordjevic and Commander of the 204th Aviation Brigade, Brigadier General Predrag Bandic.

Sergeant First Class Slavisa Markovic served in the Army of Serbia since 1997, he was married and a father of two children.
