Commemoration for NCOs killed in the accident



In the Central Military Club in Nis today a commemoration on occasion of the death of NCO Nebojsa Milic (37) from 98th aviation brigade and NCO Slavisa Markovic (36) from 204th Aviation Brigade, who died in yesterday's accident when clearing the terrain of mines in Kopaonik.

The commemoration was attended by families of victims NCO, the commander of the Air Force and Air Defence Major General Ranko Zivak, members of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, their colleagues and friends.

On this occasion, the commander of the 161st Air Base Lt. Col. Zoran Pavlovic said that there are no words to describe the grief over the loss of Nebojsa, an honest, respected and responsible man, as the family and to colleagues.

According to the deputy commander of the 24th 204th Battalion Aviation Brigade Major Cedomir Kostic, Slavisa was committed to his colleagues, honorable, trustworthy and discreet officers, who during his career had been awarded several times.

Sergeant First Class Nebojsa (Radomir) Milic, was born on 08 April1975 in Prokuplje and has worked in the Serbian Army since 22 July1995.

Sergeant First Class Slaviša (Milojko) Markovic was born on 04 December in 1976 in Prokuplje and has worked in the SAF since 19 July 1997.

The funeral of Slavisa Markovic will be held today, on 3 August, in the village of Gornji Kordinici near Prokuplje at15:00.

The funeral of Nebojsa Milic, will be held at Nis Novo groblje at 13:00
