Session of the Serbian-Egyptian mixed committee for military cooperation
The Department of Material Resources of the Ministry of Defence held the sixth session of the Serbian-Egyptian Mixed Committee for Military Cooperation. The meeting was chaired by Assistant Minister for Material Resources Ilija Pilipovic and staff general Gumal Eldin Mohamed Refai from the Ministry of National Defence of Egypt.
The focus to the plenary session were discussions about the military and security situation in Southeast Europe and the Middle East, agreeing and signing of bilateral military cooperation plan for 2012 and improving talks on cooperation in defense technology. At the end of the session, a Protocol on the work of the sixth session of the mixed Serbian-Egyptian military committee was signed.The representatives of the delegation of the armed forces of Egypt visited the Military Technical Institute, where they presented the possibilities of our defense system in research and development.
The previous 5th session was held in May 2011 in Cairo.
