At the Military Academy a commemoration on the deaths of Cadet Philip Milojevic and Milina Miletic in an accident that occurred at the test site "Pasuljanske livade" when a shell remaining from previous exercises exploded.

The commemoration was attended by families of victims of cadets, Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac and Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic with members of the college, teachers and cadets of the Military Academy, representatives of the organizational units of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, the team series "Military Academy", friends and colleagues.

On this occasion, the head of the School of National Defense Military Academy, Colonel Mile Jelic, spoke about the personal and professional qualities of Milina, and Filip, cadets at the final year in the Military Academy.

- You dreamed of youth, of happiness, of love, friendship, life and officers' stars, which you decided to receive the Military Academy. Mina was frail, delicate, special in her morning rituals. Unobtrusive, strong-willed and persistent in everything she did. Filip was a special, unusual, smiling and witty young man. He entered the military system from an early age - Colonel Jelic said, adding that they had enough love for the people around them, for their loved ones, friends, their fellow cadets, and for all they do.

Milina, he went on, loved the smell of uniforms and the thud of military boots, which reminded us of blisters, sweat and toil, but she did not care about that. She lived life to the full with a lot of courage, generosity and responsibility.

As pointed out by Colonel Jelic, Filip was not one of those people who you could easily sway, but he obeyed orders. He was one of those people who could separate important from the unimportant very quickly and easily. Often, he could surprise everyone around him with his perseverance.

-Friendship with Filip and Milina will forever remain in our memories and lives. When you meet in the future you will tell about the adventures you had. They were young people, part of us, part of our collective, who lived modestly and with dignity, hurrying home and back to the Academy. May God grant them eternal peace! - Said Colonel Jelic.
