MoD and SAF delegation in Lebannon
The delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, in a four-day visit to the UNIFIL mission, in Lebanon, during the day visited the zone of responsibility of the Sector East.The delegation, led by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Command Maj. Gen. Goran Radovanovic, visited the base in the responsibility of Spanish and Indian battalions that are stationed in the areas with the highest number of critical points at the blue line, which is the line separating the Lebanon and Israeli forces.
The delegation was acquainted with the conditions of life and work of peacekeepers, as well as possible risks in the course of their engagement. Commanders of Spanish and Indian battalions in Sector East informed in detail the of SAF and MoS on the situation on the ground and condition of his troops.General Radovanovic in today's conversation with the commander of the Spanish East Division General Julio Herero expressed his pleasure at visiting mission the UNIFIL forces. He also expressed gratitude to the Spanish contingent commander for personally organizing the successful visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, with the belief that the Serbian Army and the Armed Forces of Spain would continue to cooperate successfully in the future in a joint engagement in the UNIFIL mission.
