Experiences of the Netherlands on gender equality
The organization of the Strategic Planning Department, MoD Defence Policy Sector held a lecture on gender equality on 06th June 2012.
The lecture was organized in cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Netherlands on the basis of bilateral military cooperation plan for 2012. The theme framework of lectures related to the experience of the Netherlands in improving the conditions for greater representation of women in the security sector, with particular reference to experience in engaging women in the armed forces in multinational operations (Gender Policy).The armed forces of the Netherlands were represented by t Barbiers Eli and Esther van der Meulen-van Dijk.
Furthermore, the lecture was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, members of the MoD and SAF Analytical Group to monitor implementation of the NAP for the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 United Nations - Women, Peace and Security (2010 - 2015) in the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Interior, Directorate for Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Department of Customs Administration, UN Women and UNDP / SEESAC.
