Wreaths laid on the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day
On the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day, the Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Ljubisa Dikovic, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, and the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Defence and Security Committee of the Serbian National Assembly, Dusan Bajatovic, laid wreaths today at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Avala."Today, when all the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the citizens of Serbia celebrate the Serbian Armed Forces Day, we remember with pride all known and unknown heroes who gave their lives defending the honor and freedom in Serbia.
With pride you will be remembered by your descendants, general Dikovic wrote in the memorial book.
Major General Ranko Živak and Major General Mitar Kovac accompanied General Dikovic.On the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day, the delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces laid a wreath at the "Second Serbian Uprising" memorial complex in Takovo.
