Minister Sutanovac received Bulgarian defense minister
Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac spoke today on the sidelines of the Conference of the Cooperation Process in South Eastern Europe with Bulgarian Defense Minister Angelov Anya.
The ministers discussed bilateral military cooperation between the two countries in which they agreed that these relations are at a very high level with a constant increase in the number of activities and quality of cooperation.The focus of cooperation is carried out in joint exercises and training, which are the result of successful shooting training performed at the test site in Bulgaria Shabla in 2010 and 2011.
The meeting also discussed promotion of bilateral cooperation in the future with special emphasis on military-technical cooperation, joint research and development of weapons and military equipment, as well as cooperation in the field of military medicine.
Sutanovac thanked his Bulgarian counterpart for supporting our country's defense system and joining the military structures of the European Union, primarily in support of the conclusion of administrative arrangements with the European Defence Agency.
