Open day in Novi Pazar
In the Barracks "Rifat Burdzevic Trsa" in Novi Pazar, the event "Open Day" in the 2 Army Brigade, organized by the 28th mechanized battalions and units was held.Visitors had the opportunity to see some of the daily activities of soldiers residing in the barracks, and soldiers assigned to other units of the Army, and exposed to view weapons for tactical-technical assembly.
The citizens of Novi Pazar and the environment, hosted by Lt. Col. Djordje Belic, commander of the 28th Motorised Battalion and Colonel Milic Stanic, commander of the 2nd Army Brigade. "Open Day" was attended by representatives of local authorities and religious communities.
According to Lt. Col. Belic, the aim of the campaign performed in Novi Pazar is promoting Army members.
"By displaying equipment and weapons, exciting tactical training content and presentation of physical training, we try to bring closer of me and my colleagues," as Belic said, recalling that the Serbian Armed Forces Day will be marked on the 23rd April to commemorate the day when the in 1815 the Second Serbian Uprising started.Colonel Stanic said the event "Open Day" is a desire and interest of Serbian citizens to familiarize themselves with the work of new, reformed Serbian Armed Forces.
"Our obligation is to show that the Army was ready to confront all the challenges of security and execute assigned missions and tasks. The experiences from these events showed that Serbian citizens love their army, have confidence in it and appreciate the work that it performs. That also shows a large number of candidates service of a professional military education and military schools, "said Stanic expressed pleasure at the large number of children and young people who have visited today" Open Day "in Novi Pazar.
