Minister Sutanovac talks with the scientist Stefan Vlajkovic
Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac met today with the young scientist Stefan Vlajkovic about the assistance the Ministry of Defence can provide initiative for Serbia to become part of a project envisioning the construction of 50 small satellites.The Minister supported the idea that Serbia should connect with the FP7 European Fund in this way as well and offered scientific and technical capacities of the defense available to participants of the project, primarily through the involvement of the Military Technical Institute.
Thanks to the initiative of young scientists, Serbia could get a satellite that would be assembled in Serbia. The satellites would be used primarily for meteorological purposes, but also in telecommunications, to analyze the damage in emergency situations, exploring the Earth's orbit and the like.
