Visit to the Republic of Tunisia
A joint delegation of the Ministry of Defence (Department of tradition, the standard and the Military Museum and veterans), Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of Serbia paid a visit to the Republic of Tunisia on 13th and 14 March this year.
The delegation was headed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Tunisia Milica Cubrilo Filipovic visited the Serbian military cemetery in Bizerte and Menzel Burgiba. On that occasion they laid wreaths and pay homage to the Serbian soldiers from World War I.On the second day of the visit the delegation visited the Military Museum in Tunis. They talked about the traditions of the military operation and military museums in both countries. After the formal talk, the delegation visited the Military Museum and Allies’ cemeteries around the city of Tunisia.
