SAF helps the citizens of Serbia in clearing the snow



Members of the Serbian Army in recent days have been engaged throughout Serbia to assist people in clearing snow.

During yesterday alone, 760 members of the Army of Serbia and the Ministry of Defence, with 27 machines were engaged all over Serbia.

In the previous four days, a total of about 1,200 members of the Army have been engaged, with more than 60 machines.

SAF members were engaged in clearing snow in Belgrade, Zajecar, Sombor, Pozarevac, Valjevo, Krusevac, Kraljevo, Raska, Vranje, Mali Zvornik, Jacob, Batajnica, Novi Sad, Sabac, Nis, Prokuplje, Kursumlija, Blace, Babusnica, Crna trava, Nova Varos, Prijepolje, Sjenica, Ivanjica, Novi Pazar, Svrljig, Bosilegrad, Sremska Stara Pazova, Nova Pazova, Zemun, Ladjevci, Gornji Milanovac and Pancevo.

After the declaration of emergency situation in the territory of the Republic of Serbia 14 000 members of the Army of Serbia and 50 machines, that can work on clearing the snow, have been put at the disposal of the Republic Staff for Emergency Situations
