Cadets clearing snow in Clinical Center and Zemun hospital

The cadets of the Military Academy are clearing the snow in the vicinity of the Clinical Center of Serbia and the city hospital in Zemun.

Cadets undertook this task to clear the snow-covered slopes between clinics, as director of the Clinical Center of Serbia, prof. Djordje Bajec commended them, who underlined the fact that the Serbian Army was always helping people.

- This emergency situation requires maximum involvement of all of us. We have used up our resources, and as the Clinical Center is an institution of national importance, it is only natural that we should turn to the army that is always with people. In order for our clinics and hospital buildings to admit all our patients, we need the roads to be cleared and accessible. The Military Academy cadets came to help us in order to provide this, who are deployed at most critical points. I take this opportunity to thank the Ministry of Defence, which quickly responded to our appeal for help and so once again confirmed that our army is always with its people at difficult times - said prof. Dr. Bajec.

Cadet Brigade Commander Colonel Sasa Almazan said that part of the Cadet Brigade is engaged in clearing the snow where it is most critical.

- Currently in the Clinical Center and the Zemun City Hospitalthere are 250 cadets hired, 200 of whom are engaged in the Clinical Center. Military Academy cadets are highly motivated to help their fellow citizens in this difficult situation, although it is now mid-term exam. They will continue their regular duties in a few days, said colonel Almazan.
