Talks with the representatives of the Center for Civil-Military Relations from Monterrey
The cooperation with the Center for Civil-Military Relations from Monterey in the United States, the Defense Ministry and General Staff of the Army of Serbia held expert talks about the functioning of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army in one year from 30th January to 2nd February.
The main purpose of the interview was for the Monterrey experts to become more familiar with the organization and operation of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia in order to promote joint work in the education of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia in the future.
The U.S. delegation was led by Professor Jan Muramets, while the delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Army was led by the Chief of the Strategic Planning Major General Bozidar Forca. The talks were attended by heads and representatives of the Department for Planning and Development (J-5) SAF, the Directorate for Operations (J-3) SAF, Joint Operations Command, Directorate for the organization of the Secretariat of Defence and of the budget.
The general conclusion is that the talks were of high quality, well prepared and implemented. Experts from Monterrey stated they were now able to see the quality of defense reform the Republic of Serbia, as well as the effectiveness of planning for the future, while also expressing their satisfaction that they were involved in the education of personnel of the the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia.The delegation from the Monterrey Center for Civil-Military Relations was received by the State Secretary Tanja Miscevic.
