MIlitary Research Institute presents its publications



In the Central Military Club three new editions of the Institute of Strategic Research were promoted today. Dr. Milan Terzic from the Institute of Strategic Research, including professor from the Department for History, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Milan Ristovic and Ljubodrag Dimic spoke about the books.

Addressing the present Colonel Katarina Strbac from the Institute of Strategic Research, said that this year the Institute has achieved significant results in the field of security, defense and military history, stressing that the book launch comes at the right time as the crown of intensive work.

"Today, we are able to present three of our publications – issues 1 and 2 of the Military History Gazette for 2010, table of contents of the Gazette on occasion sixty years of publication, written by Major Miljan Milkic and Mr. Mitar Tasic and a collection of research papers presented at the conference - "Ninety years after WWI," said Terzic. He thanked the Department of Military History Institute for Strategic Research, the Army and the Military Printing House for their support.

"These are the latest books, which, I think, in the best possible way preserve the heritage of Military History Journal," said Professor Dimic, adding that the Military Gazette is an institutions per se, because its duration is an echo of 130 years of the existence of the Military History Institute.

"Work involves most of the WWII with everything that encompasses it- starting with the military operations, through political and military problems any war brings to life under occupation during war, and includes a large number of documents that make the experience of the Second World War even more personal in a very interesting and a valuable way, " as he said during his lecture on the book " WWI and the Balkans 90 years later ", Professor Ristovic.
