MoD Public Relations Department hosts a New year reception for journalists and reporters
The reception on the occasion of New Year and Christmas, which is the Department for Public Relations of the Ministry of Defence organized in the Central Military Club tonight in Belgrade for media representatives, was also attended by Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac, Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia and a number of journalists, cameramen and photographers.
Addressing those present, the now former Head of the Public Affairs Colonel Petar Boskovic thanked them for successful cooperation in this and previous years, pointing out that journalists are to be credited for the positive image the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia have in public. On that occasion Colonel Boskovic introduced the new head of public relations Colonel Milivoje Pajovic.Welcoming guests at the reception, Colonel Pajovic said that "a ship that Colonel Boskovic has so far managed, will continue to sail in the right direction."
"The fact that you are here tonight speaks to the fact that in the past year much has been done to achieve the goals set at the beginning of last year," said Colonel Pajovic, assuring reporters that the relationship between the Ministry and the media would continue to be based on mutual trust and openness.
