Political council for implemenation of the National Action Plan constituted



The first session of the Political Council for implementing the National Action Plan for the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 United Nations - Women, Peace and Security in the Republic of Serbia was held today at the Ministry of Defence.

The session was chaired by the President of the Political Council of State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Tanja Miscevic. The Political Council was constituted at the session, while Council Rules of Procedure of the Political Council and the Plan for the period December 2011 - December 2012 were adopted.

Political Council was formed by the decision the Government of the Republic of Serbia of 13 October 2011.
