Foreign DAs visit the MMA
Foreign military representatives accredited to the Republic visited the military Medical Academy in regular activities organized by the Ministry of Defence for the military diplomatic corps.Chief of the MMA Col professor Marijan Novakovic, expressed satisfaction with yesterday’s visit as a confirmation that the best MMA is a medical institution recognized in diplomatic and military circles. Foreign military officials, who are thoroughly familiar with the MMA facilities in health, education and scientific research fields, expressed interest in the possibilities for and plans for involvement of medical teams in international peacekeeping missions, plans for the development of a Regional Centre for training of medical personnel.
They showed special interest for the School of Medicine within the Medicine Academy, where the guests talked with the Dean Colonel prof. Dr. Miodrag Colic and cadets about the benefits of education in this military educational institution.
