Kragujevac repair institute (TRZ) gets the quality Oscar
National Award for Business Excellence - " Oscar Quality 2011" was presented today by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, to the Technical Repair Institute in Kragujevac. Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric, honorary president of the panel of judges, presented at the closing of 20th Forum for Quality and Business excellence to Colonel prof. Dr. Jugoslav Radulovic, Director of TRZ Kragujevac an Oscar statuette in the category of large enterprises.On this occasion, Minister Ciric said that one of the problems of the Serbian economy is that the products are not highly competitive.
- I am pleased that among this year's "Oscar winners we have we have small and medium-sized enterprises that employ two-thirds of workers in Serbia. Their work should serve as a reminder how to fight against the negative effects of economic crisis. I hope that in future they will continue to improve the quality of their products, and that the "Oscar quality" would be the same as today - a certificate of business excellence to raise the competitiveness on the world market - said the Minister Ciric.
Director of TRZ Kragujevac Colonel Jugoslav Radulovic, PhD said that his pleasure at receiving the "Oscar quality" was proportionate to the toil and hardship that the employees have invested in order to earn this valuable recognition.
Back in 2005 we set a goal, to achieve business excellence of our organization. Oscar obliges us to continue in the same direction, to improve the properties of our organization and to emerge onto the European and the international markets – as colonel prof. Dr. Radulovic remarked, adding that the Institute with the help of MoD is aiming at becoming a regional leader.National Award for Business Excellence - "Oscar quality", is awarded to profit and nonprofit organizations for outstanding results in achieving business, competitiveness and development excellence. It is awarded in two categories – to large or small and medium-sized organizations. The ceremony at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, and the crowd were addressed by Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Vida Dzagic.
- This is a serious, national award that can not be bought but can only be awarded based on merit and results. It celebrates 8 years of its existence next year and I hope it will be further used to improve the quality of our products in the future- said Vida Dzagic.
20th Jubilee Forum quality and business excellence, which is dedicated to the World Quality Day (10th November) and the European Quality Week, began on Tuesday. Forum is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Ministry of Defence, the Foundation for a culture of quality and excellence of "quality" of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Awards in the category of small and medium enterprises were given to "Zrenjanin", "Kopovi" Ub, "Nenateks" Sabac, "S&T", Belgrade and "Ukras" Veliki Popovici, while the absolute winner is winery "Alexandrovic" from Topola
