Military police officers donate blood



At the institute for blood transfusion, the members of the Military Police joined in the blood transfusion campaign today.

According o the words of SAF GS Military Police Department Deputy Chief Mirko Cepera, this voluntary blood donation campaign was initiated by this very department, with over 60 members giving this precious body fluid all from the Military Police Department, the Special Forces MP Batalion “Kobre”, CSI group, the MP Training Center, 25th battalion of the Guard Military Police and Army MP 5th battalion.

Furthermore, as he added, some members have donated blood on several occasions, while at the same time being given the opportunity to test their health and blood through most advanced methods of blood testing, and to be checked and advised by MMA experts.

This humanitarian gesture of military police officers has ended in collecting 30 liters of blood, which was also used as a chance to promote and present to the public an adapted and renovated Biopsy Room within the Institute for Transfusion as this room has recently been renovated and adapted thanks to a donation and widened, which has significantly increased the capacities of this institute.
