Live shooting exercise at "Peskovi" training ground



Members of the Training Center of the Army Training Command today performed the tactical live shooting exercise "Autumn 2011", at the training ground, "Peskovi" near Veliko Gradiste.

The exercises demonstrated operations and procedures in small arms shooting. It is the most complex form of tactical training and training in live shooting using combat guns.

The exercise, led by Commander of the Army Training Command, Colonel Milivoje Pajovic, was attended by Commander of Training Command, Lt. Gen. Aleksandar Zivkovic, Chief of Staff Training Command, Brigadier General Mladjen Nisevic, members of the staff of the training command and training centers commander.

After the exercises, the commander of Army Training Center, Colonel Milivoje Pajovic said that the tactical battlefield live shooting exercise is a culmination of training, the integration of fire and movement, which represents achieving the ultimate goal in the training of every soldier.

"This type of infantry training is constant, and here at “Peskovi" we have special conditions for training, as Col Pajovic pointed out. Further on as he added, in addition to training voluntary military service soldiers, professional soldiers, NCO candidates also undergo training here, and the Centre provides support to the Military Academy in the training of male and female cadets.

Members of the Training Center of the Army successfully performed the exercise despite difficult weather conditions, with the wind blowing at 50 kmh
the exercise received an excellent grade.
