After the formal opening ceremony, Sutanovac said that this is the latest state-of-the-art technology of its kind that can be bought in the world.

- It is the second angio room to be have been opened in the last two years, thus showing we are truly and not only formally committed to improving working conditions in the MMA and improving the treatment for those in need, both military personnel, and civilians- said Minister adding that that this new device cost 65 000 RSD, which would increase the efficiency of treatment of coronary disease by some 40%.

The Minister also expressed his expectations that the modern equipment would attract patients from abroad, since as of late there has been a remarkably increased interest in the services of MMA, adding that a process of exporting our knowledge abroad would also commence soon.

According to the Chief of MMA Col. prof. Dr. Marjan Novakovic, launching a new angio room is in the year when we celebrate three decades of the work of MMA.

- As you all know, unfortunately, Serbia has seen a soaring numbers in those suffering from coronary disease, which needs better technological diagnostics. Accordingly, we have renewed our capacity for all patients MMA - Colonel Novakovic said, adding that according to recent statistics, the new angio room can examine additional 2500 patients, both in diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED

Speaking of cooperation with KFOR, the Minister said that on the basis of the Kumanovo Agreement, the Serbian Armed Forces have regular contacts with KFOR, and the information is regularly exchanged and sent to the competent authorities which are responsible for it.

- We use these channels of communication to somehow mitigate and help stabilize the situation, but unfortunately, we are not always received with equal understanding, but that KFOR insist on respecting the agreements signed by the FRY in 1999 - said Sutanovac expressing hope that the days ahead would show that peaceful resolution, however, takes precedence over violence and we will be able to get out of the current problems without sacrifice and undamaged.

Serbia would have to be very observant and cautious in the times ahead not only about the Serbs in the four municipalities in northern Kosovo and Metohija, but also all Serbs living there, taking into consideration recent events.
