“Military doctor in village” campaign

This time, military doctors in the Western and Eastern Mojstir examined 56 individuals in field hospitals in primary school buildings and visited nine villagers in their homes.
The village of zapadni Mojstir is long way from Tutin and other places where citizens could seek medical help. So it is of no surprise when 87-year-old Selim Hajrovic says: "This is a big day for us to see that the members of the armed forces have come in these passive area. I thank the military doctors for coming to see where we live, and then to examine us and give us medication. " Fatima Nuki? and Hajrovi? Sulejma point out that they have unlimited trust in the military doctors and are enthusiastic about the doctors coming to their village. Sulejma even brought along her six-year old grandson Naser, to get medicines for his sore throat.
It was touching to see doctor Lieutenant Stevan Jovanovic and medical technician Sergeant First Class Bojan Pavlovic, from the Department of Health of the Novi Pazar 28th mechanized battalion, give each patient full attention and time to tell the problems and then provide them with therapy and prescribe medication to the sick without any compensation.
Older residents came complaining mainly of rheumatic pains, hypertension, urinary tract infections and other diseases, while the kids often complained about sore throat.
"It is obvious that people in this region are not given proper medical attention and are left to their own devices. Therefore we give medication for the problems we determine on site- said lieutenant Dr. Stevan Jovanovic - and to others we can recommend more complex diagnostic procedures and specialist examinations. "

"It has been a tradition for members of the Second Brigade to conduct the campaign " military doctor in a village "in the territory where the Second Brigade units perform tasks such as securing the administrative line with Kosovo and control of the ground security zone. We are glad that we are received by the authorities and residents with special respect when you show up with military doctors in their communities, "as Lt. Col. Dabizljevic stated.
