Danish donation to the Serbian air force
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark Mette Nielsen Kewell and Commander of the SAF Air Force Brigadier General Ranko Živak signed in Air Command Protocol on donation between the Ministry of Defence and the Royal Danish Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia.
The donation is a continuation of the Danish support to the further development of the search and rescue system in SAF and its capacity building. It is intended to equip the facilities at the airport where the helicopter crew stationed at Batajnica air field that is always on call resides.General Zivak expressed his gratitude on this occasion for all the support that only the donations intended for Air Force were more than 700,000 euros in the last period alone. He stressed that the help and support is achieved through training of our aviation and exchange of experiences in introducing and organizing the search and rescue system.
Ambassador Nielsen expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the two Air Forces stating that Denmark will in the future continue to support cooperation projects of mutual interest.
