Visit to Kraljevo
President of the Republic of Serbia Boris Tadic, Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac, Minister for Human and Minority Rights, Public Administration and Local Self Governement and Coordinator for the Kraljevo reconstruction Milan Markovic, SAF CHOD General Miloje Miletic and their associates visited Kraljevo today.At the beginning of the visit , in the City council, the showing of the film “Kraljevo- 11 months of hope’’ was organized. Prior to the showing, Minister Markovic presented a report on the extent of aid that the state had provided for Kraljevo.
In addition, President Tadic paid a visit to the reconstructed Dragoslav Bogavac street, in which many facades were damaged 12 months ago.
On this occasion the President said – ‘’After the earthquake which hit Kraljevo last year, we showed that we are, as a society, ready to react to a crisis in a responsible and organized manner and prevent abuses, which is important in order to maintain the country’s credibility.’’ He added that in the situation when Kraljevo inhabitants are faced with economic problems and when economic giants have not started working yet, maximum efforts are made every day to increase the chances for the big investors to invest the money into the reconstruction of ‘’Magnohrom’’ and other big capacity companies.President also visited Ribnica borough, families of Radojica Jerotijevic and Dusanka Kostic, who were provided with prefabricated houses by the Serbian Goverment after their households had been demolished in the earthquake.
Following this, Tadic took a walk in the city centre where he spoke to Kraljevo inhabitants.
