“Open Day” at 250th Missile Brigade

In “Banjica” barracks in Belgrade, members of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade organised traditional event “Open Day” today.

Visitors, most of who were pupils from Belgrade secondary and primary schools, as well as air defence enthusiasts, had an opportunity to see the exhibited technique and modern facilities that the missile units of Serbian Armed Forces use. They could also receive answers to the questions they asked the experts who work on those combat systems.

Apart from the exhibited tools and technique of the 250th Missile Brigade, 126th Center for Air Surveillance, Early Warning and Guidance and Brigade Links, visitors saw a part of facilities belonging to the 177th Artillery Missile Battalion of the 204th Batajnica Aviation Brigade.

Multimedia presentations, through which the youngest Missile Brigade’s “Open day” visitors could learn about the work and tasks of its units, drew special attention. Among them, the most interesting was video presentation of the Brigade’s practice during a recently performed exercise in Bulgaria.

“Open Day” guests visited 250th Missile Brigade memorial room, where they learned more about history and tradition of that unit.
