Seminar on the costs models and factors
Within the scope of work of the Joint Commission for Serbian-US defense reform issues, in the organization of the Strategic Planning Department for Defense Policy, a seminar on "Expenditure costs and models" was held"In the first part of the seminar which was held on 26 and 27 September in the Directorate of Strategic Planning, the representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia acquainted the lecturers from the Center for Civil-Military Relations, Naval Postgraduate School United States with the tools, techniques and approaches in the analysis and calculation of costs in the defense system of the Republic of Serbia.
The second part of the seminar was realized in the House of Guards "Top?ider" on 28 to 30 September. On that occasion, speakers from the Center for Civil-Military Relations of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia acquainted the guests about the role of costs in the budget planning, programming, budgeting and execution, as well as models for calculating the cost of building the defense capabilities in the long and short term.The seminar was led by Chief of the Strategic Planning Department for Defence, Major General Bozidar Forca.
