Minister and SAF CHOD visit the fuel storage in Ledinci



Minister Sutanovac and the SAF CHOD General Miloje Miletic and his associates visited today the fuel warehouse in Ledinci near Novi Sad. They talked with the owner of the storage about the cooperation between the Ministry and the Army with the public utility "Transnafta" in the field of storage of petroleum products.

General Manager, Srdjan Mihajlovic, presented the activities of "Transnafta" based on the recently signed contract stipulating the long-term business-technical cooperation for the next 25 years. On the basis of that document, after modernization, the plant will be used in Ledinci for storing petroleum products for the needs of the Army of Serbiafree of charge.

According to Mihajlovic, the remaining capacity is for the mandatory storage of stockpiles, as well as for commercial purposes. As he explained, a new storage is planned to be built.
