Open Day in Krusevac
Action "Open Day" was organized today in the "Car Lazar" in Krusevac. Members of the Logistics Training Center, the Command for the development of the Rasina Briogade, RCBD training center in Krusevac and 246th RCBD battalion have come up with an interesting program, which some 1000 citizens of Krusevac had the opportunity to see the weapons and military equipment including the training presentations.
AS for visitors, among whom the students of primary and secondary schools were the most numerous, were particularly interested in individual weapons, M84 tanks, artillery, fire fighting drill, demonstration of providing first aid, as well as the demonstration of the well drilling methods, operating integrated means of transport and use of vehicle decontamination kits Sanijet S21. The demonstration of skills of trained dogs were met with applause and ovations.
Furthermore, the memorial room of the Logistics Training Center was open to visitors too.
This year , the visitors showed not only interest in the life and work of the Army, but young people also showed interest in admission process to fill the vacancies for professional soldiers in the garrison at one time in Krusevac, and Army units throughout Serbia, so they were able to obtain information at the information desk which was set up for the occasion.
At the end of "Open Day", the commander of the Logistics Training Centre Colonel Milorad Dimitrijevic said that the aim of the campaign was achieved as all interested citizens could learn about the living and working conditions of members of the garrison Krusevac perform their tasks.
"The smiles on the faces of the youngest visitors show that we have quenched their interests, and we have an obligation to be even better and to prepare better" Colonel Dimitrijevic concluded.
