Army and Police help fight fire
In firefighting around the village of Usce today two helicopters from the 98th and 204th aviation brigade were deployed along with about 110 members of the Police Department for Emergency Situations on fighting the brush fire.In the afternoon, the members of the 2nd Army Brigade from Raska with trucks, tanks and necessary equipment came to the site and started fighting fires that affected about 250 hectares of pine forest.
The fire broke out around 19.30 on Wednesday evening near the village of Kamenjani between Usce and Studenica. Its steep terrain makes it difficult to extinguish fire and the wind which started in the afternoon only helped the fire to spread
