Promoting cooperation in military economy with Turkey



At the sidelines of the first Serbia-EU summit Minister Sutanovac spoke today, with Minister for European Integration of the Republic of Turkey Egmen Bais.

The meeting focused on discussing the possibilities of further improving the so far very good cooperation between the two countries in military and defense industry, but also in joint projects.

Sutanovac informed Minister Bais of the experience SAF had had with the process of professionalization and the reforms being implemented in the Ministry of Defence. Sutanovac stressed the importance of cooperation on the project of building Morava the air field in Kraljevo and his gratitude for Turkey’s donation

Ministers exchanged views on regional cooperation in Southeast Europe and the European integration process once again confirming mutual support between Serbia and Turkey in nearing the European Union, while expressing their hope that the cooperation which had bene good so far would continue to get promoted.
