Secretary of State Jeftic thanked the Danish delegation and Ambassador Nielsen for such a big donation:

- - I am pleased to say that today's donation is a continuation of our excellent and comprehensive cooperation between our two countries and armies. After signing the memorandum on bilateral military cooperation with the Kingdom of Denmark, since 2004 we have received over 3 million EUR worth of donations through various assistance programs, equipment and training primarily in aviation and other programs of the Ministry of Defence as well as the retraining of redundant military personnel.. I thank her Excellency for this gesture that will raise the quality of our air force’s operational capacities.

Ambassador Nielsen addressed the crew of Danish and Serbian air tanks and said that training in Denmark went down well with new friendships being forged during the training period.
