Minister Sutanovac sends his condolences to the Defense Minister of Norway



On occasion of the tragic events in Norway, Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac sent a letter of condolences to the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Norway, Grete Faremo.

"Your Excellency,

Deeply saddened and shocked by the tragedy that has befallen Your country, I take this opportunity to express my sincerest condolences on behalf of the members of MoD and myself.

We strongly condemn such atrocious acts of terrorism which has claimed so many lives of your fellow citizens. I can assure You that the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia in these times of sadness and hardship stands by and supports Norway, which has always been a friendly nation, while offering support and help in providing relief and rehabilitation of the consequences of this unspeakable tragedy.

I am convinced that Your country will be able to overcome this tragedy with the help and support of all those who opt for peace.

Unfortunately, such events have once again confirmed that the joint security space is indivisible, which Norway has always contributed to. However, we shall not be halted on our path to or swayed from building a safe democratic society and a world without violence.
