Male and female cadets in the military performed their practice test by carrying out “Diplomac” exercise today at the training ground "Pasuljanske meadows" in Cuprija.

The fifth international fair of arms and military equipment "Partner 2011" held from 28 June to 1 July, gathered more than 90 exhibitors from home and abroad and four times as many foreign delegations than two years ago. Sponsor of the fair is the Ministry of Defense, and coordinator of Jugoimport - SDPR.

Agreement on the performance of religious services in the Serbian Army, which was signed by Minister and Patriarch Irinej, on St. Vitus Day, 28 June, introduces religious service in the army, officers and religious services. This is in line with the Serbian tradition and standards of the organization of modern armies, and the Serbian Orthodox Church already has officers in the armies of priests-the Netherlands, the United States and Great Britain.

In this sense, the answer to any regional or global security crisis demands from members of the Serbian Army to speak the same language and have the military procedures and training are compatible not only with the armies of neighboring countries, but also to the generally accepted standards of modern armies.

Class 54th of General Staff Training , National Defence School completed their schooling. Among the participants there were 30 members of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia, the two armed forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and one officer from the armed forces of Austria, Turkey and Montenegro.

The earthquake that struck Kraljevo last year inflicted great damage to the economy, individuals, and the Serbian Army. We found that the total damage to buildings was estimated at 300 million RSD- Sutanovac said, expressing satisfaction at opening the renovated clinic in the city, with the best and most modern equipment in the country.

Today, 12 years after the NATO aggression, the unexploded aircraft bombs, rockets
and cluster munitions in Serbia, many scattered over agricultural land and forests, parts of the Sava and the Danuberiverbeds, remain unsafe for use and transport, and prevent the restoration of facilities and tourism development. The danger from unexploded ordnance is lurking in the area spanning several million square meters.

Ministry of Defence will continue to rejuvenate the teaching and research staff, and will work on securing and training of professionals in the country and abroad. So far the Military Technical Institute has admitted 39 engineers, and this year the ad will be announced for another 40 young professionals.

Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Miloje Miletic visited the municipality of Vladicin Han where they opened the bridge on South Morava River in the village Mazara?.

The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Army to monitor the situation daily security military road users, both in military vehicles, as well as outside, as pedestrians, passengers or driver of the vehicle is privately owned. Understanding of common interests in terms of developing capabilities for providing access to "global goods" - high seas, international airspace, space and
cyberspace - will contribute to improving governance in all four domains and strengthen international norms of responsible behavior of states.

Published by Odbrana media center a book "In the shelter of the soul", which contains articles from column "Shelter 011" by Momo Kapor wrote for wartime editions of the "Vojska" magazine during the bombing in 1999. The second part of the book contains interviews with the journalist Dragana Markovic with Momo Kapor published from 1992. to 2010, first in "Vojska", and later in the magazine "Odbrana".
