Partner days



During the first three days at the international arms fair “Partner 2011” the official delegations of Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Turkey, China and NATO agency NAMSA visited the fair. The visitors also included AC/135 Accreditation Committee, tasked with codification, the representatives of France, Algeria, Nigeria, Kuwait, Rwanda, Albania, Austria, Bosnia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia.

Besides the exhibits, which drew the attention of visitors, various lectures within the accompanying program were also visited. During yesterday, the lectures focused on artillery systems, and ammunition, with special focus on multiple modular self-propelled launcher-as the new project of the Military Technical Institute which had its promotion at the fair after the lectures and which gathered many interested guests.

This was followed by a presentation of new generation of terrain vehicles, and the lectures on introducing the new NATO codification system were especially well visited, as these lectures were also attended by weapons manufacturers as it is only a mater of time when the new codification system will be introduced. The lectures were given by the representatives of NATO NAMSA agency and the AC/135 accreditation committee.

During yesterday there was talks about energy materials and other materials for producing weapons, about multiseasonal systems, the accent being on Multisensor Intelligence Platform, as the current project that is being developed by the MTI

Pegaz, a long-range unmanned air craft and Lasta training plane drew the attention of visitors along with the self-propelled artillery systems NORA B-52 K1, SORA, SOKO, unmanned remote controlled platform, the commutation hubs of brigades and battalions broadcast in real time from Pasuljanske livade training ground, which enabled live broadcast of «Diplomac” graduate exercise. Visitors gathered to have their picture taken in front of Lasta plane with a digitalized cockpit.

The first three days were closed for wider public, and the stands were visited by many foreign and home guests, while today Partner will be opened for the public.
