Minister Sutanovac meets General Abrial
Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac met today with General Stephane Abrial, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation. General Abrial is staying in Serbia concerning the participation in Strategic Military Partner Conference which is co-organizer of Allied Command Transformation.
During the interview, General Abrial praised the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces for the successful organization and excellent cooperation in preparing this Conference. Serbia has been recognized as a partner country, which shares a security culture of the contemporary world.
Minister Sutanovac introduced the guest to the results achieved in defence reform, which means meeting the most important prerequisite to put our country to the forefront of the countries that have capacity to contribute to international peace and security. Trust is built on such gatherings, and credibility is gained by willingness to reform the system to respond to national, regional and global security challenges.
Strategic Military Partner Conference is to be held in Belgrade from 13 to 15 June with 55 countries represented in the conference, two international organizations (EU and NATO) and approximately two hundred participants.
