Delegation of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Slovenia, led by the Head of Joint of Human Resources Sector Colonel Ven?eslav Ogrinc, is visiting the Human Resources Sector of the Ministry of Defence. The aim of the visit is expert talks in the field of career management of professional military personnel.

The Republic of Slovenia is among the first countries which expressed willingness, after the formation of the Serbia – NATO Defence Reform Group, to provide assistance to the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces in upgrading the human resources management.

The visit is related to the DRG WT2 "Personnel Management" project, which has been implemented to improve the manning of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and increase interoperability of our forces to work in a multinational environment.

Bearing in mind that both countries have begun with the development of their armed forces from similar systems, it has been mutually assessed that there are many common features and similarities in the development of human resources management system, which is a guarantee of success and mutual benefit of bilateral talks that will be conducted.

The largest benefit in improving human resource management is gaining experience necessary for the formation of the personnel model that meets the standards of modern armed forces in the world, focusing on the formation of career types, establishment of the pyramid of ranks, planning and implementation of inflow and outflow and the model of career management for individual personnel categories.
