The ceremony at the Military High School



Graduation ceremony of the 35th Military High School class of students has been held today in the conference hall of the Military Academy in Belgrade. The ceremony was attended by Commandant of the Military Academy, Brigadier General Mladen Vuruna, associates, and representatives of organizations and institutions with which the Military High School cooperates.

Parents, relatives and friends of students, superior officers and teachers were welcomed by the Head of the Military High School Colonel Milan Stevic, MA.

Following the ceremony the prizes were awarded to the best students. Watches with inscription were awarded by the Commandant of the Military Academy to the top three students in rank – Stefan Petkovic, Jordan Atanasijevi? and Petar Repic.

Addressing the audience, the best student of the 35th Military High School class, Stefan Petkovic, pointed out that the students now when they are finishing the school days are still ahead of the challenges of studying and preparing for a tough officer's call, but he is sure that the Military High School prepared them in the best way for what follows.

The Chief of the 35th Military High School class of students, Major Zoran Stevanovic, presented Stefan Petkovic with the prize of the "Second Lieutenant Borko Nikitovi?" Fund. The Fund keeps the memory of the tragically killed young officer who was once a student of generation of the Military High School and the best student of the Military Academy.

On behalf of the class masters and teachers, students were addressed by Professor Gorica Djakovic-Doroški.

The art programme at the ceremony was entrusted to vocalist Katarina Veškovac, actor Aleksandar Duni?, Military High School students choir conducted by Professor Andjela Jeremic. In the artistic part of the concert, student Vladimir Jovanovic, a virtuoso on the accordion, had his performance.
