The first generation of volunteer soldiers finished the three-month training

In the Seventh Training Centre in Leskovac, voluntary soldiers have successfully completed the three-month training. After 45 days, a half of two hundred soldiers was sent to the specialist centres in Pozarevac, Milanovac, Krusevac and Batajnica to the specialist part of training for certain military occupational specialities, while the other half in Leskovac continued training for the duty of a shooter.

As part of basic training, voluntary soldiers passed the training contents from physical training, morale and military professional training and carried out fourteen shootings from small arms and squad exercises. The training was realised in Leskovac barracks "Voivode Peter Bojovi?" at the shooting range "Medja" and Sinkovac slope.

"We are pleased with the results that soldiers achieved in the training, shooting and physical fitness checks – said Major Sinisa Nikolic, Deputy Commander of the Seventh Training Centre – and especially with their dedication and discipline, which is best illustrated by the fact that no disciplinary award was received in this generation of soldiers. Compared to generations in the regular military service, these soldiers are more motivated and have a more serious approach."

The soldiers of the first generation in voluntary military service received certificates for successful completion of training, and eighty percent of the soldiers expressed their wish to start a professional military career. Those who have successfully passed medical examinations and psychological assessments will be sent to the Serbian Armed Forces units for additional training as early as from 5th June.
