Defence consultations between Serbia and Germany
Bilateral defence consultations between the ministries of defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany were held today in Belgrade.The delegation of the Federal Ministry of Defence of Germany was led by Brigadier General Hans-Werner Virman, Deputy Head of the Defence Policy Sector and Arms Control, and the delegation of the Serbian Ministry of Defence by Milorad Peric, Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department.
Discussion was held about the issues of the achieved level of bilateral military cooperation and defence reform. They exchanged the experiences from participation in multinational operations.
It was mutually assessed that the cooperation in the field of defence is developed. The issues of further development of military medical and military economic cooperation, further education and training of MoD and SAF members in German schools, and involvement of German advisers in MoD and SAF were raised. General Virman was received by the State Secretary Tanja Miscevic.
