Czech delegation visits Ministry of Defence
During the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, the delegation of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, led by Chairman Frantisek Bublan, met with the delegation of MoD and SAF headed by state secretaries Tanja Miscevic and Aleksandar Miscevic on 30 May 2011. They discussed the issues of defence reform and defence budget and exchanged experiences on issues of budget adoption and control, and impact of parliament on the budget. The Czech delegation was briefed about the priorities of the Ministry of Defence and modernization plans for the future.
Both sides agreed that the defence cooperation is developed, taking place bilaterally and through the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Belgrade as a contact Embassy for cooperation of the Republic of Serbia with NATO.
