MoD and SAF delegation visited the Egyptian MoD
The MoD and SAF delegation headed by State Secretary Zoran Jeftic PhD paid an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt from 16th to 19th May.State Secretary Jeftic was received by Assistant Minister Major General Mohamed Assar, as well as high dignitaries of the Egyptian MOD Operative Sector and the Sector for Weapons.
The visit was realized in view of the upcoming fifth meeting of the Mixed Serbian-Egyptian Military Committee, so during the talks views on the current political security situation in the northern Africa, Middle East and the Balkans were exchanged where both ides expressed pleasure with the cooperation in the area of defense achieved so far.Furthermore, the Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan was agreed upon and signed for 2011 between the defense ministries of Serbia and Egypt.
