Seminar on software for developing morphological analysis in scenario making
In the plan of bilateral military cooperation with the Norwegian Directorate of Strategic Planning Department for Defense Policy, 18 and 19 May Seminar "Development of software for the application of morphological analysis in the development of scenarios."The seminar, led by Chief of the Strategic Planning Department for Defence, Major General Dr. Bozidar Forca, was attended by representatives of the organizational unit of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia in charge of affairs in strategic and operational planning.
Delegation of the Ministry of Defence of Norway was represented by Colonel Svere Iversen from the Department for Defence Policy and Long Range Planning and Research Havard Fridhejm the Norwegian Defence Research Institute (FFI).During the seminar discussed various aspects of using scenarios in strategic and operational planning, with special emphasis on the application of morphological analysis in the development of scenarios. Representative of the command and information systems and IT support software is presented to support the application of morphological analysis in the development scenario was developed for the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia.
The seminar is relevant to the overall competence of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia for the use of modern tools and techniques for developing scenarios, and for the strategic and operational planning.Representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Norway said that the realization of seminars and helped them in understanding the possible approaches in developing scenarios, and that cooperation should be continued in the area.
